Welcome to Reception, here you will be able to read about and see all the exciting things that we have been getting up to!
Homework:
Reading is a fundamental aspect of learning, we encourage you to read daily with your child at home. Please ensure that your child's individual reading book and record are in their bags everyday. For further information and support with reading with your child please refer to Oxford Owl, this website is a hub of information and also has over 100 free e reading books.
Sounds and tricky words we have learnt in phonics will be sent home each week for consolidation.
Tapestry Online Learning Journal:
At Quainton School we have subscribed to Tapestry, a fantastic online journal that gives you the opportunity to see what fun and adventures your child has been up to during the school day. You also have the ability to share your own observations which help us to get to know your child even better!
