Welcome from the Headteacher
I am delighted to welcome you to Quainton Church of England School, nestled peacefully in the rolling countryside of the Aylesbury Vale. A safe rural environment dedicated to achieving good progress for all who walk through our welcoming doors.
Above all else, Quainton is a happy school. A welcoming and a positive atmosphere permeates the school, creating a safe environment with fantastic behaviour and children who want to 'give it a go' and succeed. We are a dedicated team, all proud of our school and what it has achieved in recent times and more importantly what it can further achieve.
Whilst academic learning is highly valued we also know the importance of a broad and balanced education, with the talents of each child recognised and celebrated, enabling all of our children to grow in confidence, develop a sense of responsibility and achieve their personal goals. We support this with an extensive array of school trips, themed days, engaging visitors, after-school and lunchtime clubs. Additionally, we are hugely committed to an active lifestyle with the children competing weekly in sports events across Buckinghamshire.
Having joined Quainton last year I have now taken on the responsibility as the Headteacher. I am incredibly excited about the role and the future of the school. I could wax lyrical about Quainton all day long but the best way for you to see our wonderful school is to come and have a look for yourselves - you won't be disappointed! If you are a prospective parent, please note that we welcome children from outside of our catchment area. Therefore please make an appointment with the office and we would be more than happy to show you around.
Mr James Vernon
Our School Values
"Do to others as you would have them do to you."
About Our Values
Quainton Church of England School have six core christian values. These values have been carefully chosen by all stakeholders including children, parents, staff and governors. Our values underpin all that we do at Quainton and we explore these values in depth during our collective worship. We aim to make these values central to everything we do at school and in life.
We are all very proud of the ‘Outstanding’ SIAMS inspection judgement that we were awarded in 2015.
