Welcome to our Year 2 page!
Here you can keep up to date with the activities happening in our class. Please see below the weekly spellings and keep your eyes out for the wonderful learning that the children will be doing over the coming year.
Reading books will be changed on a Friday (They need to come in daily so that we can also read with the children in school)
Spellings will be every Friday starting from 19th September.
On Friday, maths and spelling homework will be set on Purple Mash and will be available for a week.
Our PE day is on a Tuesday.

Spelling
The weekly spelling words are linked with the reading books that come home. The weekly spelling tests will take place on a Friday.
Please note some children will have alternative spellings and these will be sent home seperately.
Please remember to read with your child on a regular basis and record their reading progress by completeing the Journal in Purple Mash.
