E-Safety

In the modern world we live in E-safety is of huge importance. We have compiled a list of documenets below which will help you to navigate the world and protect your children from online dangers.

A great website to refer to is: https://parentzone.org.uk/library

Our computing curriculum,Purple Mash, provides clear, practical teaching on online safety and digital skills, including:

  • Keeping personal information private

  • Safe searching and using the internet responsibly

  • Recognising unkind or unsafe online behaviour

  • Understanding age restrictions and why they matter

  • Knowing what to do if something online doesn’t feel right

Children learn how to use technology safely and sensibly, with regular reminders about reporting concerns to a trusted adult.  We use SurfProtect at Quainton to filter and block inappropriate material - this is monitored daily.

If you have any concerns please contact the school safeguarding team on 01296 655242
